Jacqueline Fernandez To Appear Before Delhi HC Today For BAIL Hearing In Connection With Sukesh Chandrasekhar Money Laundering Case-Reports
Bollywood actress Jacqueline Fernandez has been grabbing headlines for controversial reasons ever since her name appeared in the ongoing conman Sukesh Chandrasekhar case. The actress has been accused of receiving expensive gifts from the conman and is said to be in his touch when he was in jail. Last month, Fernandez was granted bail interim bail on a bond of Rs 50,000 in Delhi’s Patiala House Court. Now as per the latest update in this matter, the actress will appear before a Delhi court for the hearing of her bail plea.

Reportedly, the Kick actress will appear before the Delhi High Court today ie October 22 in connection with the PMLA (Prevention of Money Laundering Act) case bail plea that she was granted last month. Jacqueline's lawyer Prashant Patil told Etimes, “We shall be appearing before the Honourable Special Court at Delhi. To note, ED in its second supplementary charge sheet in the ongoing case has named Jacqueline as an accused. She came under the radar after a fixed deposit worth Rs 7.2 crore was attached to the actress. However, Jacqueline Fernandez in her statements has denied her alleged involvement with Sukesh Chandrasekhar’s case.

Meanwhile, before getting interim bail, Jacqueline had applied for travel restrictions to be lifted to promote her upcoming film Ram Setu which also stars Akshay Kumar in the lead role. The movie is slated to hit the theatres next week on October 25.
